Governor’s Games

2025 Governor’s Games will be held on Saturday, February 15 & Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Important Notes:

Coach must present their most updated printed AES Governor’s Games roster to ref before the beginning of each match.  Handwritten copies will not be accepted.  Schedule must be a printed AES Governor’s Games roster and must include players uniform # or they will not be allowed to participate.

We are playing at 3 different sites and don’t have the ability to print rosters at each site so be sure you remember to bring it.  And if you have any changes you need to make to your roster, do so asap as you won’t be able to update them on AES after Friday night before tournament.

Teams scheduled to play at Alario Center should be aware that chairs are limited there.
Folding chairs are allowed at Alario and we strong suggest that you bring your own to assure you have a seat.
Also, No outside food or drink is allowed {that includes sports drinks and water}.
Everyone’s bag will be checked and if you even have water, you will have to dump it out your container before you enter.  I tell everyone to brink an empty bottle or container and fill it up with water once you enter.  There will be iced water barrels set up in different locations throughout the building.
Everyone will also have to pass through scanners.  This is a state of Louisiana facility as is they Super Dome in New Orleans.
Alario Center follows the same rules and safety regulations as the Dome.

Check AES for schedule updates and other notices periodically, even as late as on Saturday morning of tournament.
